After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments
are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment.
There has to be a means you can remove me from that service?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Yi,
Thanks for a great website. My wife and I were at a Chinese restaurant one day and we walked by the server station where there was a bowl of soup on the counter. We asked what kind it was and the server said it wasn’t on the menu. He said he could make some for my wife and did. It was the best soup we’ve ever had in a chinese restaurant. He said “Most Chinese people love this”. It was basically a stock with noodles, chicken, some vegetables and a scrambled egg on top. Do you have a recipe for this soup. Thanks!
Mark

Hello Mark, thanks for your visit! The soup you descriped sounds like a typical homemade soup noodle. However based on your description i can come up with more than a dozen recipes that would fit the bill. Do you know if the chicken is in chunks or stripes? Is the chicken boiled or pre-stir-fired. what does the soup base look like? Is it clear or mixed with soy sauce? I hope i can figure out the recipe for you. Thanks.

I can probably get Russian missile plans before I will be able to get recipes for Chinese buffet food :( All these great ways to make food and tenderize the meat and I can’t find how they do it.

I am going to try the Coconut Shrimp found here and see where that leads. I, too, and looking for that gooey sweet flavor. China One in Gaylord has a fantastic version.

Yeah most restaurants, especially the ones with good business, are reluctant to reveal their recipes. Please let me now how the shrimp comes out.

What I am looking for is the coconut shrimp balls recipe that are made very sweet, like a dessert, no tempura batter, no batter at all, no veggies with it. It is at the Fortune Buffet Restaurant on Linden Road in Flint, Michigan, but they seem not to understand when i ask how it is made or what the ingredients are.
